- Enrichment teachers (STEAM teachers)
- Discipleship group leaders/mentors
- Workshop trainers for parents/teachers (finances, internet safety, nutrition, parenting, etc)
- Classroom aide/Outdoor supervisor/Tutors
- After school or weekend programming (extracurricular clubs)
- Office support (Grant writers, event planners, administrative help)
- Building maintenance (we need experienced plumbers, electricians, carpenters, etc., to help with facility upkeep)

I love being a volunteer elementary school art teacher and librarian at Los Angeles Christian School. I retired as a public-school primary teacher some years ago, but I soon felt lost without kids to teach and being in the classroom. I prayed for God to show me some way I could give back, and soon after God put LACS in my hands. It is fulfilling teaching art lessons with them and seeing them grow as budding young artists. I am very grateful for the school and amazed by the quality and dedication of the teachers, administration, and parents. It is a gift to be here. – Mrs. Q
I have volunteered since my children were here as students, about 32 years. My highlight is being with the children out on the playground, sitting around the picnic table, hearing stories and telling stories. This is a family school, where parents, teachers and volunteers are all giving their best to enrich the children’s lives in every way. – Miss Katie
My experience volunteering in 4th grade is a highlight of my life. I love being with Ms. Bolcom and her classes as they learn and grow academically and in their faith walk! The entire school offers love and support that makes me long to be there each time. The school and its staff allow me to join their journey with our Lord and to share in their love for Him and one another. Since 2017, our church has been in an amazing partnership with Los Angeles Christian School. Our congregation chose to work with LACS because of their missional and Christ-centered approach to both ministry and education. We are firm believers in their call to bring young students to follow Christ, and to lay down the foundations of the Gospel in their hearts for their future. On multiple occasions, our church was able to participate through chapel services, summer sporting events, Christmas celebrations, and other campus projects. It is truly an honor to call LACS our brothers and sisters in Christ, and we are eager to see how we can labor together in the Kingdom of God together in the future. -Rev.
